We will be instituting a new policy for bad verbal behavior. Bad behavior is defined as anything that causes issues in the LS. This includes, and is not limited to:
- Excessive name calling. (Beyond friends having fun picking at each other, this is at offensive levels, because Aki is still an lolPup.)
- Talk exceeding PG-13 limits. (See defintion of PG-13 rating below.)
- Offensive content in discussion.
- Racist, or sexist remarks.
We do not care if you are drunk, high, angry, or stressed out. There are many people in this LS who get just as drunk, angry or stressed out as you, and they do not feel the need to break the rules. There are people from all walks of life in this LS, so please remember that and follow our rules.
There is no freedom of speech here. This game is based from JP and played in the US. The constitution of the United States does not apply to this LS. You can not say what ever you want. You violate the rules, you will recieve a penalty.
For ventrilo use: There is a PG channel (See PG Guidelines below), and an Unrated channel. While in the PG channel for events, there is to be no swearing, talking about offensive topics, racist or sexist remarks. Usually when you are in the PG channel, it is for an event, and the chatter needs to be kept to a minimum. We have been having issues at events where people could not hear their orders because everyone was talking about non-event related things in ventrilo.
While not on event, feel free to discuss what ever you want in the Unrated channel, UNLESS, it is something highly offensive to other members. In which case an officer will tell you to stop talking about said subject. If you refuse, you will be kicked from ventrilo. If you come back and continue after a warning kick, you will be banned.
You do not pay for the ventrilo server, Aki does. And Aki is our leader. He set the rules for a reason, so unless you want to pay for his server, you do not have a say in the rules.
The definition of PG:
PG is defined as very mild swearing (rarely, everyone slips, make an attempt please), no extreme swearing. Moderate violence (No extreme gore discussion), and try not to get any adult references, not everyone enjoys the dirty jokes.
The definition of PG-13:
PG-13 is defined as swearing is okay, just not in extreme excess. Moderate violence (No extreme gore discussion), and mild adult references. Keep it at that. Some people play for the game, not to listen to you talk about all of that.
Violations:
Anyone who violates these rules will be warned at first, everyone slips sometimes. If you continue it purposefully, or argue against the officer(s) informing you to stop, you will recieve a strike. If you continue after your first strike, you will be given two more strikes and be removed from the linkshell.
